Luo Liuyi is the founder and CEO of Righteous Capital Limited, a multi-family office based in Hong Kong. In the past twenty years she has been focused on wealth and asset management for the ultra high net worth entrepreneurs in the Greater China area.
She started her wealth management career at Goldman Sachs in 2001, being the first generation of private bankers covering mainland China clients. She worked there for ten years, grew and developed together with the first generation Chinese entrepreneurs, and witnessed these bright and courageous people building their business from scratch and growing them to multi-hundred billion dollar listed companies.
Her unique experience includes successfully managing the allocation of a USD1.5 billion DSP for Alibaba Group’s IPO on the NYSE in 2014, which is still the largest IPO in world history. As a result of her achievements, she was invited by the founder of Alibaba to set up and manage his single family office. Since then she started a career in family office management, helping high net worth individuals and families on global asset planning and allocation.
In addition, she also helps successful entrepreneurs with philanthropy activities planning, and wealth transfer between generations to preserve family legacies. She was born and educated in China, and she also received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. She lives in Hong Kong with her husband, a 10-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter.
